Alankrita Shrivastava is a popular Indian director who is among one of India’s leading contemporary writers as well. She most recently directed and co-wrote some episodes of Amazon Prime Video’s critically appreciated web series, Made in Heaven. Alankrita’s latest film, the Lipstick Under My Burkha (2017) featuring Konkona Sen and Ratna Pathak Shah, got great appreciation and praise from critics and audiences all around the world. Konkona Sen Sharma is a Bollywood actress hailing from Kolkata, West Bengal. She was born on 3 December 1979 in a Bengali family. She completed her schooling at the Calcutta International School and later moved to Delhi for a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Delhi University’s most prestigious college- St. Stephen’s. Cinema has already been existent in her genetic roots. Her mother, Aparna Sen, is a noted actress and director in Bengali cinema. Moreover, she is the granddaughter of Chidananda Dasgupta, a film critic who also established the Calcutta Film Society. In 1983, the four-year-old Konkona was first seen on the big screen in a Bengali film titled ‘Indira’. Shreya Ghoshal, one of the most famous singers in Bollywood today, was born on March 12th, 1984, in Berhampore, West Bengal. Her father Biswajit Ghoshal is an electrical engineer and mother Sharmistha Ghoshal is a postgraduate in literature. She started singing since the age of 4 when her mother taught her. Shashaa Tirupati is a Indian playback singer and was born on 21st December 1987. She is also a lyricist and gives her voice. She also acted in “ Ram Milaayi Jodi” that aired on Zee TV. She played a rather negative role in this series but turned positive by the end of serial. Vikramaditya Motwane is a film producer, writer, and director. He was born on 6th December 1976. He married Ishika Mohan, the photographer. He started his career as an assistant to the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali; he worked with him for the films ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ (1999) and ‘Devdas’ (2002). Nawazuddin Siddiqui was born in Budhana in Muzaffarpur district of Western UP on May 19, 1974. He grew up with seven brothers and two sisters in his native village. He is a science graduate from Gurukul Kangri University Haridwar and after completion of his graduation, he worked as a chemist in a factory for a short while. He did not like the job and hence leaving it proceeded to Delhi to find some other job which might interest him. As he could not find a suitable job in Delhi, he even worked as a watchman for his survival. Within a short while, he watched theatres and felt interested in it. He joined a theatre group and started studying the art of acting. He graduated in acting from National School of Drama in 1996 and relocated to Mumbai to pursue his career in acting.
On arrival in Mumbai, sustenance and survival became a serious issue for him and he started doing minor and few minute roles in the television which was simply not enough either for his survival or to showcase his acting talent. At one point of time having been fed up with minor roles in TV, he decided to try his luck in Bollywood film industry where though the roles were minor and nondescript, the money paid was higher than that of TV serials.
After a very long story of struggle, he got the lead role in Pipli Live, Kahani, gangs of Wasseypur and gangs of Wasseypur-2 which turned the tables in his favour. He won a National special jury award for his performance in Pipli Live.

Shah Rukh Khan or also known as SRK is a prominent Indian film actor, television personality and producer. He was born on November 2, 1965 in New Delhi, India. He is often called as the ‘Baadshah of Bollywood’, ‘King Khan’ and ‘King of Bollywood’. The actor has done more than 80 films in Bollywood. He was cited as ‘The World’s Biggest Movie Star’ by the Los Angeles Times. Khan is also one of the wealthiest actors in the world, with over $400–600 million net worth. Khan went to St. Columba’s School in Delhi where he topped in studies and sports like football and hockey, where he got the Sword of Honour Award, a school’s highest award. For his outstanding contributions to the film industry, he received the Padma Shri Award by the Government of India and the Legion d’honneur and Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the Government of France.
This year, he became the co-chairman of Red Chillies Entertainment and all its subsidiaries. Khan became one of the owners of the cricket team, Kolkata Knight Riders of the Indian Premier League.
