. It is also produced by Neil Burger. Billions premiered on Showtime on January 17, 2016. The series has four seasons and 48 episodes as of 2018, and each episode ranges from 55- 60 minutes. The production is located in New York City. Billions is based on Preet Bharara and his legal battles with S.A.C. Capital Advisor’s hedge fund manager, Steve Cohen. Preet Bharara’s character is played by Paul Giamatti as Charles Rhoades Jr. is also known as Chuck in the series.
Rhoades fights against wealthy criminals who buy their way out of justice while working really hard not to be overshadowed by his rich father and his higher-earning wife. Damian Lewis plays the character of Steve Cohen as Robert Axelrod, also known as Bobby in the series.
