Shona Roder Gaan is a Bengali TV serial aired on Colours Bengal. The story revolves around Anandi, a girl who lives with her parents and other family members as a joint family. She is a responsible girl. She is about to marry her love Bikram. Bikram's family demands a dowry from Anandi's father, Bishwanath. Biswanath takes out a loan to pay the dowry, and when Anandi finds out, she refuses to marry. Later, on Biswanath's persuasion, she accepts the marriage. Anandi meets Bikram's cousin Dr. Anubhab and Biswanath's doctor. Anubhab helps Anandi every time. Anandi suspects Bikram of having an affair with his sister-in-law Shreya. Anandhi's father dies on the wedding day due to stress, and she breaks off her marriage with Bikram.

Her mother and sister blame her for Biswanath's death. To help his family and repay his debts, Anandi starts working. Anubhav falls in love with Anandi. Bikram took Nanda into his fake love to get revenge on Anandi. Nanda marries Bikram despite Anandi's warning. Shreya starts creating problems for Nanda. Diya, Anubhab's friend in love with Anubhab, gets jealous of Anandi. Diya creates a misunderstanding in Anandi, and Anubhav's relationship gets better. Anandhi has a brother Apu. Apu falls in love with Bulti, but no one accepts their relationship, and Anandi marries them. Anubhab becomes disabled after he is met with an accident, and Anandi helps him.
