Sholoana means 16 Anas. 16 Anas make one whole rupee or a coin. No coin can be ever made without a missing ‘Ana’. on Colors Bangla uses a similar concept. The serial focuses on the concept of life and how each and every moment in life is important to a person. We don’t have control over life and death which makes it important for us to cherish every moment.
The serial begins with a local brawl amongst some rowdies regarding a match of roulette which leads to a gang-leader Napa having his head smashed against the windscreen of a taxi causing an accident. As he tumbles down with blood flowing freely and him seeing the world moving slower than usual, his entire life flashes before his eyes as he stares at a shocked Mala sitting inside the taxi with her ailing mother. Slowly, his vision turns hazy as he loses consciousness. The following episodes teach us the importance of life and the importance of each of the Anas with the help of a beautiful story.
