Her first Hindi film that became popular was for Pyaar Jhukta Nahin composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal, after which offers came pouring and she sang song for 1942-A Love story, Mr India, which made her very popular.
Her number “Hawa Hawaii” in Mr India, is still popular with masses, but before getting a chance in Bollywood, she had also sung for Kannada films too. Kavitha established herself as a leading playback singer in 1990s and had worked with composers like A R Rahman, Annu Malik, Jatin Shah and others.

The role is too mature for a child to play, but Monish Malde has very beautifully and gracefully performed it and there is no element of over confidence or over acting in this role.

Lalit Negi was first seen as Shatrughna, the youngest brother of Rama in the serial 'Ramayana' telecast on NDTV Imagine during 2007-08. The serial was produced by Subhash Sagar, Prem Sagar and Moti Sagar for Sagar Arts and directed by Anand Sagar. The serial was a remake of the serial 'Ramayana' of 1987-88 which was extremely popular and was produced by Ramanand Sagar for Sagar Arts. It was his sons who recreated the Hindu epic written by Valmiki in Sanskrit and Goswami Tulsidas in Hindi. The serial of 87-88 was popular to the extent in its time, that even the traffic in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai was found to be thinner than usual at the time of telecast of this serial. Lalit Negi performed as the youngest son of King Dasharatha and the youngest brother of Rama. His performance was highly appreciated by the audiences and he came out as the loved and obedient younger brother of the God Rama. The serial continued up to June 2009 and Lalit continued in the serial until the end.
Lalit again appeared as Digvijay in 2011 historical drama which was also telecast on Imagine TV 'Chandragupta Maurya'. This serial was also produced by Sagar Arts and directed by Bhushan Patel. Lalit played the role of a childhood friend of Chandragupta Maurya who helps Chandragupta fully in his battle to win over Dhananand.
