Jaya Ojha is an Indian television actress who was born in Nuwakot, Nepal. Since her childhood Jaya was inclined toward music and literature. First, she started writing songs and stories and started to sing and dance too. She did her graduation from Jaipur and during her studies she started to realize her passion for music and acting. She has done Masters in Hindustani vocal music. After completing her studies, she worked in a couple of TV plays like “The sword of Tipu Sultan”, the great Maratha and Indradhanush. She also did theater work in Jaipur.
She had also launched her music album in which many singers like Ram Krishna, Kama Das and many more sang the songs written by Jaya. She has also worked in two Nepali movies as Heroine, which were “bhaimara Paribanda” and Nepal Aama”. After Jaya got married and moved to Mumbai where she had more possibilities on excelling in the field she liked. She took a break from her career in order to give full attention to her family and after six years she returned to the industry. She joined a theater group called Yatri to revive her acting skills. After doing some theater work Jaya moved to TV serials and started to act in a famous show “Saibaba” aired on Start TV. She was signed for more serials like Lucky, Kum-Kum and C.I.D. She is also doing Synergy Adlab serial “Angrezi main kehte hain” and “” which are both aired on Imagine. She is also doing a TV serial called Main saas kab bano ge, which is currently being aired on SAB TV. Besides TV serials Jaya has also done small roles in big screen industry in the movies Chain kuli ki main kuli and Hall-e-Dil.
