Rakesh Deewana, character artist of Indian TV and cinema industry, was born on 1969 in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. He was known for doing comic and entertaining roles. Hathras situated in UP is known for people having a good sense of humor and one of the famous Hindi Poets Kaka Hathrasi was born there was known for his jokes and repartees.
He acted both in movies and television, and some of his famous films were ‘Manoranjan: The Entertainment’ Starring Sudhanshu Pandey,
Aditi Govitrikar, Baabarr (as Nanha), Hello! Hum Lallan Bol Rahe Hain and more recently in 2014 ‘

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (as Maharaj), Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Ramayan (2008). He made people laugh with his antics, and his screen names were always bizarre to support his characters. In the short span of his career, he garnered many accolades from the people, especially from the Kids.
His career was getting upwardly mobile when the cruel death snatched him from us. His friend remembers him as a very enthusiastic and a person with so many dreams in his eyes, but it seems the destiny has stored some other plans for him. He died in Indore on the morning of 27 April 2014 after a fatal illness caused after undergoing bariatric surgery.
