Harsh Somaiya was born and brought up in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He belongs to a political family, and his father is a Member of the Parliament; his brother is also a political worker. Harsh went to Swami Vivekanand International School and completed his schooling, and then went to St. Joseph's High School in 2011. After that, he joined Mithibai College, Mumbai to complete his graduation in Commerce. In his college days, he was very active as a youth political activist. Before involving himself in political activities, Harsh had been playing various roles as a child actor in many TV serials, and theatres.
In 2006, he got the chance to appear in the historical drama series "Prithviraj Chauhan", where he played 'Chandar'. And again in 2008, he played the role of “Young Shatrughan” in the Indian classic series “ Ramayan ‘Ramayan’ was an Indian epic theme based on Valmik >> Read More... ”, directed by Anand Sagar Bio coming soon... >> Read More... . Furthermore, he was also cast in the drama series "Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil" in 2008. He had been a part of the team till 2011. Belonging to a political family, Harsh got busier with the political activities after his graduation. He has been socially active through BJP Yuva Mocha. He managed to do a Post-Graduation Diploma in Marketing and Finance and studied Chartered Accountancy from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi. Now, he is a Ph.D. scholar at the University of Mumbai.
