Cameraman At War is a short documentary film aired on DD Bangla with Bengali translation. It was a government-sponsored documentary film released in 1943. It featured well-known cameramen like D.W. Griffith, Bernard L. Montgomery, Edward Candy, Eddie Edmonds, Peter Cannon, and many others on battlefronts worldwide during WWII and early WWII. They were later compiled by Len Lye from newsreels and combat reels and narrated by Raymond Gladdening. It depicts the gruesome and catastrophic nature of the battles that happened all over the world during WWII. It was later featured on the Criterion Collection’s DVD Overlord (1975) & Cameramen Who Dared (1988).
