“Premer Phaande” is a Bengali romantic drama serial that aired on 18th April 2016 on Zee Bangla and continued till 4th September 2016. The serial revolves around two characters Mohor and Rishi who are polar opposites, disliking each other to a great extent. Rishi lives in a joint family and works for a matrimonial company. On the other hand, Mohor is an orphan woman who is independent, strong, and mature. When they meet each other, they immediately start to dislike each other leading to constant banter between the two. When Mohor joins the job as Rishi’s job and starts to live in his house as a tenant, his family soon picks up their developing relationship. Everyone in the house pampers and loves him. They start to like Mohor when she joins the family and wants her to get married to Rishi and fall in love with him. However, Rishi and Mohor immediately protest against the idea resulting in Mohor tormenting him at the job while he gets to torment her at home. How their dislike for each other turns into love and acceptance constitutes the rest of the serial in a friendly, comedic environment.
