Saibal Banerjee produced the serial. Parmatma Yadav cranked the camera and Sameer and Soumen edited the series. The series started airing on 21st January 2013 and went off air on 5th December 2015.

Kajal is from Odisha and is an expert in Odissi. Arin Neel Basu Mallick is a wealthy man. During their first meeting, to save Kajal from becoming a Devdasi, Neel marries her. Initially, Neel’s family didn’t accept Kajal, especially Neel’s elder sister-in-law, Bhoomi. In a dance competition, Kajal wins Bhoomi. Later, Neel’s people accept Kajal as one of their family members. Then, it is revealed that Kajal and Bhoomi’s mothers are sisters. Kajal’s father was an Odissi exponent who is no more.

Soon, in turn of events, Kajal and Neel divorced, and he married Arshi, who planned this divorce. So, Kajal had to leave the house and stay in a dance master’s house, who was none other than Kajal’s father, who was assumed dead. What happens next? Will Kajal get back her life?
