Bengali Tv Serial Amloki

Amloki is a Bengali soap opera that premiered on 12th February 2018 and was telecast on Zee Bangla. The serial containing 220 episodes in total revolve around a small six-year-old child named Amloki who was born deaf and dumb to her poor parents named Chandana and Ratan. Amloki's father is depicted as a very irresponsible person and a good-for-nothing thug while her mother Chandana has dedicated her whole life to her daughter's upbringing and she believes that Amloki would surely be able to talk and hear one day. However, she soon meets with an accident and loses her memory.

It is then revealed that Chandana is actually the daughter of a very rich and influential person and belongs to the family of GuhaThakurtas. She is rescued by her cousin Mohana and taken to her maternal home where, apart from her family she meets her uncle, aunt, and her cousins Nilay and Mohana. Baisakhi is Nilay's wife and is depicted as a shrewd manipulator. Her family had earlier disowned her upon her marriage to Ratan but regarding the fact that Chandana had lost her memory, they welcome her back into the household overcome by their parental love for her.

Meanwhile, Amloki, who had been struggling all this time to survive in the cruel world all on her own after losing her mother, gets a shelter in the orphanage. However, she is gradually rescued by Mohana who is unfit to reproduce children and hence plans on adopting Amloki. Ratan, who had fled from his responsibilities after being left alone with Amloki, disguises himself as a gentleman and plans to woo Mohana thinking that she is the heir of the rich GuhaThakurtas. He sees this as an opportunity and seizes it. Amloki, being brought to the household is very happy to see her mother again, although she couldn't express her joy because of her disabilities.

When she sees Ratan trying to woo Mohana using deceit, she tries to warn them but is unable to. Ratan, on the other hand, is quite shocked to see Chandana again but is relieved upon knowing that she doesn't remember anything. How Chandana gradually recovers her memory and how Ratan is stopped from fooling everyone along with how Amloki plays a major role in surviving amidst the chaos forms the rest of the serial.
