Telugu Tv Serial C.I.D. (Crime Investigation Department)

C.I.D. (Crime Investigation Department) is a dubbed version of Hindi serial C.I.D., which is getting telecasted in Maa TV as a daily serial from 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST. CID is a crime detective serial. The director of CID serial is B. P. Singh. The credit for creating and writing goes to the same person. The series was premiered on 21 January 1998. It has successfully completed 17 years till 2014, maintaining the suspense and anxiety among the viewers. ‘B. P. Singh’ used to work as a cameraman at Doordarshan.

The concept for this series was initiated at that time and now it has reached a maximum number of viewers; for which he was very happy with the huge success of C.I.D. The CID team is led by ACP Pradyuman which solves mysterious crime cases. In every episode, the show goes up with lots of twists and turns, keeping the officers on the search to catch the criminals, led by the clues. Despite the personal challenges faced by the C.I.D. team, they keep investigating the cases with adventure, though they knew it is risky, but all because of their sincerity towards duty. The show is absolutely unpredictable and dramatic, and entertained the audience over many years and still continues to keep them excited and thrilled.

On 7 November 2004, C.I.D had set a record, where B. P. Singh got the fame for entering into ‘Limca Book of Records’ and ‘Guinness Book of World Records’ for shooting a complete episode "The Inheritance" in a single continuous shot for 111 minutes in a single take. The episode was shot from 6:30 PM to 8:20 PM IST on 8 October 2004 in Mumbai and telecasted in Sony television on Sunday, 7 November 2004, from 8 PM IST to 10 PM IST. C.I.D. has got highly positive response when compared to the other detective series.
