Akanksha Juneja is an Indian TV actress. She was born in Delhi on March 30, 1990. She has completed her graduation from University of Delhi. She has also pursued Media Studies from ‘R. K. Films and Media Academy’ located in Delhi. Later, she relocated to Mumbai to follow her dreams in modeling and acting.
Akanksha started her acting career in 2010, with a non-fiction TV serial, named as ‘Mahayatra - Rishton Ka Anokha Safar’ which was aired on Star Plus. In the same year, she also played an important role in another TV series, titled, ‘Do Saheliyaan’, which was telecast on Zee TV. She then appeared in a TV serial ‘ Thoda Hai Bas Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai’, wherein she played the supporting role of “Akshata Kulkarni”. The serial was aired on Colors TV during June - Dec 2010. Next, she donned the role of “
Anjali” in a melodrama, titled ‘ Hamaari Beti Raaj Karegi’, which was broadcasted on Sahara One from Dec 2010 to Jun 2011. At the same time, she also played the role of “
Daksha” in a TV serial named as ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’, which airs on Star Plus.
During 2012, she performed the role of “Tanisha/Tashu” in a psyochological thriller ‘Dil Se Di Dua... Saubhagyavati Bhava?’ which ran on ‘Life OK’ till Jan 2013. In the later part of 2013, she played a negative role of “Ayesha Sudhir Sharma/Ayesha Siddhant Kapoor” in a romantic soap opera named ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’, which ran on Sony TV till July 2014.
She has appeared in two episodes of ‘Emotional Atyachar season 4’, which runs on ‘UTV Bindaas’ and in ‘The Adventures Of Hatim’, which was telecast on ‘Life OK’ from December 2013 to Augusr 2014. She has also appeared in one episode of ‘ Adaalat’, which runs on Sony TV.
This talented actress, who has appeared in a number of TV serials so far, is now going to debut into Bollywood with her first movie, which is yet to be released. The name of the movie is ‘ Bang Bang Bangkok’ and is directed by ‘ Vikram Bhatt’. Though, her first movie was a Bhojpuri movie, titled ‘Banke Bihari’. She has also acted in a Punjabi movie, ‘Le Gai Sada Dil Lutke’.
