Malayalam Television entertainer Asianet Released a daily drama TV serial, Nammal. The meaning of the Nammal means ‘We' in Malayalam language. The serial stars Arun Gosh and Muktha play the lead roles, and Ishani Niya, Zana Farzana, Saniya Babu, Adhil Krishna, Surya, Sreepathy and Renish Raju are in supporting roles. The series was released On 21 November 2022. The series tells the story of six children who grew up in different conditions, and the series concentrates on the joy, celebration, and crises the six children and the characters who come as a part of their lives. The serial goes on with many family elements like various emotions and happiness that come across the life of the six children and the storytelling of the life of each child in multiple aspects. The serial is directed by Shiju Aroor. 

Gayathri is seeking justice for her daughter Shivatha's tragic past. Meanwhile, Shivatha struggles with bullying at her new school from girls. She finds some solace in friends like Neeraj and Justin. Shivatha gets an opportunity to showcase her singing talent in a school play. However, students Nithin and Kevin spike her drink to sabotage her chances, and she ends up unconscious on the road, nearly getting kidnapped before being rescued by Jeevan. Jeevan takes Shivatha to his home to recover, causing suspicion and anger from Gayathri. Shivatha's friends Helen and Vaiga's teacher try to protect Shivatha from nefarious plans against her by those like Indraja and Arjun. There is drama surrounding a radio announcement where Jeevan attempts to reveal Shivatha's identity but ends up announcing the wrong name due to threats from Karishma's father. In the chaos, Gayathri's father Sreedaran shows that Jeevan is Shivatha's birth father. The plot centers on Shivatha's struggles and the tense relationships surrounding her - Gayathri's fierce protectiveness, Jeevan's mystery tie to Shivatha's past, the plotting of those trying to hurt Shivatha like Indraja and Arjun, and Shivatha's efforts to pursue her dreams despite the scheming of her peers. The truth of her parentage promises more drama ahead.
