Manassinakkare is a TV show in the Malayalam language from India. It first aired on August 23, 2021, on Surya TV. The show starred Vidyashree Jayaram, Reneesha Rahiman, Vishnu Nair, and Jay Prakash in lead roles. The show is also available to watch on-demand through Sun NXT. It is an official remake of the Kannada serial Kavyanjali.
Manassinakkare is a story about the unbreakable bond between two loving cousins, Kavya and Anjali. Though opposite in personality, with Kavya more self-centered and Anjali utterly selfless, the two share a sisterly affection. Their relationship is tested when Kavya's boyfriend Abhijith falls for kind-hearted Anjali instead. Despite Anjali's protests, Kavya insists on arranging their marriage, hiding her hurt for Anjali's sake on what should have been Kavya's wedding day.
This noble act touches Abhijith’s mother, Suhasini, beginning to thaw her bitterness towards Anjali over past family wounds. But Kavya’s mother, Renuka, harbors a jealousy that poisons her against her niece. Through the scheming of the villainous Shankar, truths emerge about Abhijith’s lineage that further complicate matters. Yet the two cousins stand steadfastly together against all obstacles.
