Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 8’s rehearsals started on July 22, 2014, while the shooting begins on August 2, 2014 in Surat, Gujarat. This is the first time that the show shoots outside Mumbai.Â
On August 17, the show’s grand premiere was broadcasted and then it was broadcasted regularly from Monday to Thursday for one and a half hours. After some weeks, it was aired for only an hour. Season 8 ended on November 6, 2014 and broadcasted 2 grand finale episodes; one is on November 9 and another one on November 16, 2014. The tagline used in this season is, Yahan Sirf Paise Nahi, Dil Bhi Jeete Jate Hain.
