Hindi Tv Serial Khandaan

Khandaan is a television series that aired on Doordarshan in 1985. It follows the life and times of the Premchand family, a wealthy business family, over several generations. It aspired to be the first long-running television drama on Indian television. It attracted a substantial audience and was a success, but the state-run Doordarshan would approve of an endless daily serial. This show ends after showing some exciting episodes from the life of the joint family consisting of an elderly couple, their children, daughters-in-law & grandchildren.

Mohan Bhandari, Dr. Shriram Lagoo, Jayant Kriplani, Girish Karnad, Shernaz Patel, Tinu Anand, and Uma Banerjee were the other cast members. The direction and screenplay were by Shreedhar Ksheersagar, the dialogues by Harish Bhimani, and the music by Vanraj Bhatia. For Girish Karnad and Neena Gupta, Khandaan was the first TV series. It features Dr. Shriram L, Sunila Pradhan, Mohan Bhandari, Neena Gupta, Girish Karnad, Sujata Mehta, Shernaz Patel, Tinou Anand, Uma Banerjee, and Anant Mahadevan.
