Ted, totally frustrated over their breakup, intends to win over the breakup by making out with a wild girl who insists him to get a tattoo. Robin, on the other hand, brings her new cool boyfriend Gael (Enrique Iglesias) to their house, frustrating Ted even further and so the story goes.

The relationship between Marshall and Lily moves on to new horizons as they are striving for their dream apartment. There are some unique twists like Ted meeting up a new girl, his doctor who he starts to like; also we get to see feelings of Barney for Robin, revelation of which may do something to the friendship between him and Ted. Will there be any final absolution between them and are the guys going to have their way with their love? We have to watch out. The season got mostly positive reviews though is compared for their similarities to the series Friends.

Canadian singer Robin Sparkles, Robin’s alter-ego (first shown in the second season), is back on her second music video, Sandcastles in the sand, in the episode with the same name which is cool. Ted continues to tell stories to his children how he met their mother, which is compelling and unbelievable how they’d so many seasons out of a guy who is just telling such stories to kids considering that the show is sitcom genre. The reason may be the issues that they deal are very real and authentic which every person easily connects to with having a generally happy and comical overtone striking through all of them.

The character development that we see within a season is enormous- from totally broke and confused to living a stable and enjoyable life. Also, credit goes to the director how well they have blended the guest cast with the regular cast. Overall the season is a blast, very consistent with the previous season and all the more fun; hence it’s definitely worth the watch.
