Varun Tej has transformed completely into a gangster and impresses everyone. His villainy performance is superb and his dialogue style is new and it works out. Atharvaa, who has been doing performance-oriented roles in Tamil, makes his debut in Telugu and he has done a neat work. Pooja Hegde, Mrinalini Ravi, Sathya and the others had done a decent job.
Thanks to director Karthik Subbaraj for giving a different subject to Tollywood. The cast selection is perfect and everyone fits well in the role. The screenplay is slow to suit the script. The director has changed the script a bit from the Tamil version to Suit the Telugu sensibilities. The length of the film should have been minimized. The characterization is good, but to establish the characters, the director had taken a lot of time. The first half is better than the second half. Certain scenes seem to be purposely inserted. The climax should have been crisper. The film is technically strong and the production values are good too.
What's Not There?
The movie is definitely a one-time watch for the performance of the stars and different script!
