Plot

Ram and Jaanu are the classmates. Both of them are attracted to each other, but they had never expressed their liking towards each other. After the exams get over, Ram had to leave the city due to some personal reasons. After 15 years, Ram and Jaanu meet at their school reunion. What happened in these years? Are they married? Samantha is a versatile actress and had always come up with brilliant performances. Her expressions in the movie are charming. The emotions flow freely from her and especially, she had worked hard not to resemble Trisha Krishnan Born on 4th May, 1983 in Palakkad by Krishnan and >> Read More... , who did the original version of the movie. Similarly, Sharwa had done his best and this movie might take him to a better position. What a performance by both of them! The rest of the stars, including Vennela Kishore, Thagubothu Ramesh and Saranya Pradeep, did their job well and impressed the audiences.

Analysis

The highly expected Jaanu is the remake of “ 96 Click to look into! >> Read More... ” and the director had done justice to the original. Although he is the original version director, Premkumar might have faced a lot of confusion and would have tensed a lot, while making the movie, as people will definitely compare both the versions. Although there are some comparisons and the original version excels in specific sequences, Sharwa and Samantha impressed the audience with their mind-blowing performances. Notably, the scenes when he speaks about her wedding and those emotional scenes towards climax are really touching the heart. The music by Govind Vasantha is fantastic and special thanks to Chinmayi Sripaada She is an Indian who also do playback singing and >> Read More... , who dubbed Sam and also crooned the songs. She is fantastic! In fact, Chinmayi is the soul of Jaanu in both versions. Yes, she was the one who dubbed Trisha in 96.
