Plot
Ranjankudi Anbarasan Murugesa Boopathi Oohondhiran, aka Rambo is a cab driver cum bouncer. While working as a driver in the daytime, he romances Kanmani, and while working as a bouncer at night, he romances Khathija. When both of them are ready to take their lives to the next level, Rambo gets confused about whom to choose, as both of these ladies are cute with their unique characters. Who will be his life partner? The rest of the film deals with this.
Star Performance
The leading trio has performed well. Nayanthara is impressive as usual with her body language, expressions, and dialogue delivery, and Samantha is stylish and stunning. Vijay Sethupathi has done his job well. Sreesanth is given a small role, and the cricketer turned actor is impressive even though he has a minimum screen presence.
Analysis
At last, Vignesh Shivan managed to bring on screen his long-delayed script in 2022, which was planned in 2016. The film didn’t have anything new on the script side, but it is the humor and performances that pull the audience. Though the film didn’t have any impressive elements like Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, KTK has a few breezy moments. Nayanthara’s family attachment and how Vijay Sethupathi falls for her are shown well. Though some scenes are not penned well, the audience enjoys those, as the leads take the scenes to a better level. Vijay Sethupathi’s dialogue delivery is so good, but he has to concentrate on his looks. The music is good, and the visuals are neat.
