Plot:
Vikrant is a technology savvy student, and he makes out that he is not the biological son of his parents. His foster parents get murdered in a mysterious manner. Then, Vikrant decides to find out his real mom and dad.

Aashish Raj Aashish Raj is an Indian actor; he works in the Hi >> Read More... is a debutant in the movie. But he does not look like a debutant. He does his character with much ease. But the actress Rukshar Mir, who plays the pair, does not emote well. Most of her expressions are very stiff.
Analysis:
There are fun-filled introductory scenes, there is lively comedy aplenty in the movie. There are a number of much adored debut actors. There is humor and fun which give way to romance, action and drama in the movie. But, the momentum of the movie is lost during the climax of the movie. The way the director starts off the movie is pretty interesting. There is some decent comedy in the movie. There is some glamor by the heroine Rukshar Mir. Some among the romantic scenes are appeasing to watch. Cinematography by Venkat is good. M R Varma has done the editing, and it is good. Rom Bhimana is the director of the movie, and he has made a half-hearted narration of the movie. The interval comes at the right juncture. But, during the remaining portion the movie has not kept up to the mark.
What is there?
The movie’s first half is able to deliver the right mixture of comedy, love and drama. As a matter of fact, the highlight of the movie is the twist that occurs just before the interval. It keeps the audience at the edge of their seats. There are the scenic beauties of Visakhapatnam which are beautifully depicted in the movie. The convincing acting skills of Aashish Raj, and the perfect dialogue delivery contributes to the strength of the movie.
What is not there?
The setback of the movie begins with a thrust in number. The number with the protagonists in it do not fit the scene very well. It does not suit well, as just ten minutes before the song the hero’s parents are dead. There are several setbacks to the movie. The haywire narration by the director makes the movie less interesting. After a good interval, the scenes in the movie fall short of the expectations. There is no good chemistry between the lead pair in the movie.
Verdict:
Taking everything into account, Akatayi has a good plot and interval sequence. But after the interval, the narration derails. It would be a movie which is worth watching once.
