Plot
Ramanna is a watchman in an apartment, earning the trust of the residents. A few youngsters in the apartment died due to drug abuse. When the entire premise is saddened about their death, a gang of goons enter the apartment and stops the final rites, stating that they borrowed money from them. The soft Ramanna stops them fiercely. In his past, he was Kondanna, a farmer, who lived with his parents and wife. Kondanna’s wife delivered children, but they died soon after birth. Due to the increasing debts, Kondanna’s father, Ankanna, and his mother commit suicide. Unable to stay there after his parents’ death, Kondanna moves from his village. What happened next? How did he become Ramanna? The rest of the story deals with this.
Star Performance
Ramesh tried to deliver a decent performance as Ramanna and Kondanna. Lavanya Reddy and Sravani Mohan are okay in their roles. Sammeta Gandhi, Devasena, Anand, Vijaya Rangaraju, Shilpa, Guduru Kishore, Adwitej, and Siddu Royal have performed what was asked.
Analysis
The story speaks about farmers’ sufferings as well as the young generation’s addictions. Besides these, it also speaks about genetic marriages and their effects. Although the concept is good, the director should’ve inserted a few more interesting elements to make the movie passable. Although there are relatable characters and incidents seen in the film, some bland performances spoiled the effort. The visuals and music are okay.
