Firstly before getting into the deepest sense of reviewing we should appreciate the effort of using technical expertise to bring a dead person alive on screen. Secondly the film is dubbed in other languages too so that the other regional audiences can also watch the late legendary actor Vishnuvardhan on screen.

Now let’s delve into the movie Siva Nagam, which is the dubbed version of the Kannada movie Nagarahavu.

Plot

The movie follows us through a Kalasha that will be helpful to Gods to save themselves from the atrocities of the demons. A myth says that the Gods are deprived of their power during solar eclipse and the demons get great power. This is the story of the golden pot by possessing which the person becomes invincible. There is the Shivaya family that has not allowed the demons to get hold of the pot. What does the demons do? What does Ramya, who goes to the extent of sacrificing her life for not allowing the pot to get in the hands of the demons, do? Watch the movie to know.

Star Performances

Ramya has given a great performance and also looks appealing. Notwithstanding, she emotes well. Rajesh Vivek Rajesh Vivek is an Indian actor. He was born on 31 >> Read More... does a convincing job in his character with negative shades.

Analysis

Kodi Ramakrishna Rama Krishna more familiarly known as Kode Rama Kr >> Read More... has debuted in Kannada with Nagarahavu and he has attempted to give a successful film like his earlier venture Arundhati. Just like Arundhati this movie too has the heroine waging a battle against the evil forces.

What’s there?

Just like Arundati Nagarahavu also has a strong female character.
The visual effects are mind-blowing.
Sandalwood’s thespian Dr. Vishnuvardhan is brought to life through graphics and that is a treat for the fans. This is his 201^st movie.
The flashback is engrossing.
The second half is more interesting than the first half.

What’s not there?

Though the movie has some the essential aspects to win it falters in term of the most important thing: story.
The screenplay is not up to the mark and so is the editing.

Verdict

If you are big fan of Vishnuvardhan, curious about Ramya’s comeback performance after 2 years, then you can watch this film. And not to miss the special effects.
