Rajesh Vivek is an Indian actor. He was born on 31st January 1949 in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. His parents are Raj Bahadur Upadhyay and Prem Kumari Upadhyay. He took Masters’ Degree in Ancient History and Archaeology from T D Degree College, Jaunpur. Rajesh started his career doing theater dramas as an actor. Shyam Benegal gave him a chance in his film Junoon, released in 1978, which became his debut film. Further, he acted in more than 40 Hindi films.

He is very much recognized for his role in ‘Lagaan –Once upon a time in India’ as Guran, ‘ Swades’ as Postman, and ‘ Jodha Akbar’ as Chughtai Khan. Interestingly all these three films are by the filmmaker Ashutosh Gowarikar. He was nominated for his role in Lagaan for Performance in Comic Role (Popular Award) by International Indian Film Academy. Rajesh has also acted in some TV serials. Rajesh is known for his role of Veda Vyasa in the popular series ‘Mahabharat.' He has also acted in another historic TV series ‘Bharat Ek Khoj’.

Rajeev Anand

Rajeev Anand is a Bollywood actor. He studied mechanical engineering and was ready to turn it into his profession. He was also about to get his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) to aid his mechanical engineering education. However, he always had a knack for acting and decided to leave all of his educational qualifications aside to get into the field of acting. To his delight, he got a supporting role in the Japanese movie, ‘Pride’, making it his first international film. Yuko Ito, a Japanese national, has directed Pride. Japan and India have had military ties since the mid-twentieth-century owing to the founder of the Indian national army, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. The Tokyo Trial was a movie which included the story of this legendary Indian freedom fighter. The renowned actor, Anupam Kher, plays the character of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Rajeev Anand acts in the role of a comrade of Netaji. This movie was a breakthrough for Rajeev, who had done only small roles in films and television earlier. He decided to move to Mumbai after doing The Tokyo Trial. He was also part of movie Letter Service, which was a French production. Butterfly from the East was another one of his projects, which played at the Cannes Film Festival. He acted in Mumbai 125kms 3D, a Bollywood thriller. He was a pair alongside the ravishing Pakistani actress, Veena Malik. He plays the role of Adhikar, Veena Malik’s husband in the film. He tried his hand at radio jockeying while he was in school. All India Radio trained him about radio jockeying. He appeared in several English language radio talk shows. Before acting in international films, he used to work in advertisements and other videos. He was a part of many TV serials too. He modeled for Men's Style Magazine of Femina. He currently lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
