Plot
Aravind suffers from nyctalopia and his father who is his only strength gets killed by a group. He now gets into the journey of finding the truth behind the murder of his father. Will he be successful in this investigation with his health condition? The remainder of the story deals with his investigation.
Star performance
In this movie, the character enacted by Vikram Prabhu forms the soul of the movie. The romance between Vikram Prabhu and Vani Bhojan is shown excellently. Vani Bhojan has performed well in her assigned role. All the other cast have done their job decently.
Analysis
Paayum Oli Nee Yenakku is an action thriller, leading a story of investigation by Aravind who is suffering from nyctalopia. This movie was written, produced, and directed by Karthik Adwait. The story is fruitless, there is no point in bringing the element of nyctalopia in this film as the character does everything handily. Even though the story selected is unique, it lacks in the execution side. It is a mature direction by Karthik Adwait. The cinematography is carried on perfectly by portraying the difficulties of Vikram Prabhu (who played the role of Aravind) in his journey towards solving the case. Editing is good. The screenplay felt discontinuous. The background music does not meet the mark. The acting of Vikram Prabhu chose a tough path and he has tried his best to deliver a neat performance. His acting is soulful. The romantic scene between Vikram Prabhu and Vani Bhojan is good to watch.
