Nambiar is a sci-fi Tamil movie which has been written and directed by Ganesha, who also marks his debut in the film industry. The name of the flick has been titled after the name of the veteran actor M.N. Nambiar, who was famous for his evil roles in both Tollywood and Bollywood.
Plot The story of the picture deals with the life of a man, Ramachandran (Srikanth) who has a mix of positive and negative thoughts in his life just like any other normal person. What becomes exciting and new with the script is that these negative thoughts have control over Nambiar and always used to create a problem for him. They used to get to him through the form of Santhanam. Whenever he is going to try something or do something these negative thoughts use to influence him a lot and use to make his life a living hell. Whether this game between them will end or, continue the whole life? Thus this makes up to the rest of the story.
Analysis The flick has been directed and written by Ganesha. This film not only marks his debut in the industry but of his wife also as a costume designer. Her costumes need a special reference as her work has been shown fabulously and totally go with the characters. He has written a creative and unique story which is sure to please the audience. Thus he has done a great amount of experimentation through the script.

The screenplay is engaging as the first half has many humorous scenes and the second part being bitten less due to elongated scenes. The makers have tried to show the theme through a very light- hearted manner and have beautifully shown the city of Chennai in all its magnificent way. The music is good except one song being famous a lot. The cinematography is decent and the editing done is nice.
Star performances Srikanth who plays the main hero has been selective in doing his films, and this flick is all the time a very good choice. He has improved a lot on his acting skills. Sunaina, who is the lead heroine, has been missing from the industry for around two years. Her acting is also up to the mark, and thus both of them have done a commendable job.
