Meow is a Tamil film directed by Chinnas Palanisamy. The film has Actor Raja and Urmila Gayathri in the lead roles. A Persian cat plays the titular role in the film. Vincent Adaikalaraj produced the film under the banner Global Woods Movies. Sreejith Edavano composes the music. Bhojan K Dinesh cranks the camera.

The story is about a cat named Selfie that takes revenge on four youngsters, who are annoying. The scuffle between the cat and the boys is the crux of the story. What is the reason behind the cat’s revenge? Did the boys pester it? Watch the film to get the answers.

Star Performance

All the artists in the film had done justice to their roles. No flaws in their performances. The cinematography by Bhojan is fantastic and Music Director Sreejith Edavano has also done his job perfectly. In particular, the background score is amazing.

Director Chinnas Palanisamy has taken a different script on his hands to entertain the audiences. However, there are many logical loopholes in the film. The cat takes different avatars like a dragon and a monster. How could a cat transform into these many roles is a big question mark here. The film would be interesting for the kids rather than the adults. However, it is a decent film to watch with the family.

What’s There?

  • Music and cinematography are the big support to Meow

What’s Not There?

  • Logic is missing
  • CG work is not satisfactory

We could not insert Meow in any category. It is neither a horror thriller nor a fantasy. Although it doesn’t have any special features to be mentioned, the film could be watched with children. Whether the adults love it or not, the children would love to watch!
