Plot
Abdul Khaalique gets ready to help his friend to marry his girlfriend. On his way, he gets stuck in a time loop. He had to save the CM of the state, and in this fight, he was killed. Although he gets killed, h is pulled into the time loop again and again and every effort he puts gets wasted and he is killed every time. He has to overtake the ACP and get the CM and himself out of the time loop. Was he able to do this? The rest of the story deals with this.
Star Performance
Simbu’s entry gives a super treat to his fans. He hadn’t disappointed his fans and given his best. Simbu is good in emotional scenes. SJ Surya is fantastic with his unique style. Kalyani, Premgi and Karunakaran have given a good share of performance from their side.
Analysis
Venkat Prabhu has made a bold attempt to bring this film. It is not a complete political film but showcases the discrimination faced by Muslims in India. Though there is something stereotypical, the actor and director make the audience forget that with their performance and screenplay. The film has a huge star cast with well-known stars. SJ Surya is a good choice, and his role is unique, a mixture of fun and seriousness. Yuvan’s music is one of the biggest pluses. The BGM is fantastic, and the theme music too. The cinematography department had also impressed the audience. The visuals are incredible and don’t give any irritating feel to the eyes. The best part is the editing. For the time-loop stories, when we see the same scenes repeatedly, we get vexed, but that’s not in the case of Maanaadu, as KL Praveen had done a fantastic job. His editing is razor-sharp, one of the film’s essential features.

The film comes with a different story, good screenplay and wonderful performances. The makers make the audience watch the film without getting bored. Maanaadu – watch-worthy!
