Simbu has done the role of a software professional in the movie. Romance comes to him with much ease, and there is a semblance of Simbu in Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya. Dialogues by Simbu keep the audience engaged throughout the movie. Nayanthara is as good as usual. There is a touch of genuineness in the lead pair’s relationship and gives a feel of watching something real to the audience. The comedy tracks performed by Simbu and Soori are simply wonderful. Jayaprakash has made an appearance in the movie as Simbu’s dad. Udhay Mahesh and Dheepa Ramanujan have done the role of Nayanthara’s parents in the movie. Jai and Santhanam’s cameos are a treat to the fans, and so is Adah Sharma in a special song.
