Plot
Kamali is a crazy girl living in a small town. Kamali has a brother and her father trusted him that he would make it big in education and the future. Kamali is an average student. Her father didn’t want her to do higher studies and wanted to get her married and finish off his duties. Kamali is not much interested in studies and she doesn’t have any objection to getting married. But, fate has different plans. When Kamali meets a boy, she falls for him at the moment. But, the boy is studious and aims to do his higher education in IIT Madras. So, to see him daily, Kamali wanted to join IIT and hence started preparing for the exams with the help of a retired professor who resides in her town. Did she get a place in IIT Madras? Did her father allow her? What happens to Kamali's love? The answers form the rest of the story.
Star Performance
Anandhi is fantastic with her performance. She fits well in the role. The rest of the stars had also done their part well.
Analysis
The story is different from that of the regular women-centric films. Usually, the heroines are used as side artists, who appear on the screen to romance the hero and cry in the emotional scenes. But, this is different in the case of Kamali From Nadukkaveri. Although the scenes are predictable, the director has made some strong characters and moved the story properly. However, he should have dealt with the screenplay effectively. Anandhi is the biggest asset to the film. She not only played her part well, but her chemistry with her co-stars is astonishing. Her expressions are fantastic and she perfectly stepped into the shoes of Kamali.

Kamali From Nadukkaveri is a good film which has come with some neat performances. Like any happy-go-lucky hero, Anandhi has done a heroine role that is loved by all. Kamali From Nadukkaveri – watchable!
