Plot

Three friends search for the job and finally settle in Thenkashipuram village as the funeral band performers. One of them is Shiva and he falls in love with Vaigha, the village girl. When he performs with his band in the funeral of the girl’s father, he sees her and it is love at first sight. Vaigha is a differently abled girl and when Shiva comes to know about it, his affection towards her doubled up. Star Performance

Hemanth Menon has given a decent performance. Kavya Suresh did an okayish job. The rest of the cast had done what is needed.

Analysis

The script is not new. But, the screenplay is good. The director hadn’t revealed about Shiva’s character in the first half and carried the movie neatly. But, he failed to maintain the same josh in the second half. Although the film has nothing new, the love portions are neat and the director had filmed it well. The cinematography is cool and the music is impressive.

Verdict

Although the film comes with a decade old love story with action sequences, it has a decent romantic track with beautiful cinematography and some good music. Thenkashikattu – Watchable once!
