Plot
Kanjan is a local artist who specializes in the art of Teyyam. He lives with his son Udayan and daughter Usha. However, Usha is assaulted by a local goon Sudhakaran. What will Kanjan do now?

’. Yet, the narrative for this film works wonders. Sometimes, it is good to be simple.
Nobody would believe it that this is just Vinod Mulleria’s first appearance. However, the way he has conducted himself as the helpless father in this entire movie is just outstanding. He more than makes up for the flaws in the movie. The supporting cast is equally good in their respective roles, with Santosh Keezhattoor marking his presence in style.
The concept on paper has been brilliantly executed by Manoj K Sethu. He is not only the director, but also the main cinematographer and editor of this film. Yet, he has handled almost every department efficiently. Pradeep Mandur has written a convincing story, that manages to keep the audiences intrigued for the first time.
The film is not completely flawless though. There are moments in the second half when the audience start losing their interest. The editing is also not up to the mark. This is why despite the runtime of the movie being less than 2 hours long, the viewers start getting bored in some sequences.

‘Kuthood’ is a refreshing change. True, the movie is not without flaws. However, the execution of Manoj K Sethu is impressive. The acting performances are also equally good. Overall, the film is worth watching on the big screen!
