Ibrahim loses his wife and daughter in a landslide. He lives with his father and younger brother. Sumathi is their neighbor, and she has a younger brother. They lost their family in the incident. Ibrahim’s father asks him to get married to Suma. She is also ready to get him married and told him that if he wishes, she is ready to convert her religion. But, Ibrahim stays silent. One night, a cop brings a young murderer and tells them that they will stay there for a night. Meanwhile, Ibrahim’s brother argued with the accused. Meanwhile, their family friend Karim and Laiq come there, and the situation turns much different. Why Karim brought Laiq? Who is Laiq? What happened to Ibrahim and his family? The rest of the story deals with it.
As usual, Prithviraj is mesmerizing. Roshan Mathew and Srinda did their part well. Murali Gopy and Mammukoya grab special attention.
The script and screenplay are interestingly designed. Manu Warrier had done a great attempt, and it worked out well. With stars like Prithviraj, even a small story would be interesting, as they impress with their performances. The cinematography is fantastic, and the entire team should be appreciated for making a film in a limited space. The actors are picked up well and placed in proper roles. The screenplay made the audience tied to the seats, which is the victory of a director and the writer. The BGM gels well.
What’s Not There?
The thriller flick directed by Manu and performed by Prithviraj, Roshan, and Murali Gopi is fantastic and has brought a new definition to the thriller.
