Plot
Thampan and Antony are close pals and they run a business together. They help the poor and bring justice to them when they are ditched. This made them get more enemies in their town. Their close relationship had a break due to some family issues. So, they both parted ways. After a few years, Antony gets stuck with a problem and he is forced into a situation to seek his ex-friend’s help. What was the situation? Will Thampan help Antony? The rest of the film speaks about it.
Star Performance
Suresh Gopi is good with his solid performance. He is still good at the stunts and impresses the audience. Renji Panicker has done a decent job. The rest of the stars fit well in the given roles.
Analysis
The story of friends turning enemies and again rekindling their friendship is not new in the Indian film industry. Almost all languages have had this genre. Though the pattern is the same, the treatment should be different. The characters in Kaaval are developed well and the stars are placed perfectly. The BGM and songs are good. The visuals are neat. The screenplay should have been better to make the audience watch the film throughout.
