CAST & CREW
This casual humor movie has a very talented cast - Radhika Pandit, Ganesh, and senior actor Kashinath. The story is inspired from the 1961 Hollywood film, Lover Come Back. The trailer increases the expectations of fans, and they were excited about the movie.
Plot: Radhika and Ganesh are advertising executives in two opponent companies, and they are very different from each other. Radhika is hard working, cooperative, and honest and has ethics. She is strong headed yet very kind. She is very different from Ganes because, on the other hand, Ganesh doesn’t work hard at all. He has no family background, so no stability and hence believes in making easy money. He comes up with shortcuts, easy ways and even sets his clients in parties or other things that they want, and he can provide.
It’s intriguing to know what the consequences would be if these two people with such opposite personalities fall in love with each other, and how they go through obstacles in life together. The main, serious part of the film is yet to come, and it begins with Ganesh. He somehow comes up with a product named ‘zoom’ that does not even exist and is an energy booster. He plans on earning a lot of money through this, but this entire fiasco leads to the involvement of Kashinath, who plays a scientist, banned in India. Let’s see if the scientist can save Ganesh from the advertisement councils.
Analysis: The movie is an average comedy movie, is mildly entertaining with humorless jokes. It also contains a lot of innuendos and double-meaning jokes which are not that funny either. The music is also ordinary. The acting is the best part of the film. Radhika has also sung a hip song, much to the delight of her fans. The writers should have worked on the sense of humor because the film’s genre is a comedy yet it does not live up to it. The actors have performed to their potential and especially, Radhika is a lovely watch, and Ganesh keeps it entertaining.
1. The story is watchable and averagely entertaining.
2. The actors have done a splendid job.
What's Not There:
1. The movie lacks good humor.
2. There is less originality because the film story is exactly like the Hollywood version.
Verdict: Its good for passing the time, average humor and especially, Radhika’s fans will enjoy this.
