Plot
David, son of Joseph, is a college student. His grandfather Richard has a Murphy radio, which he was not allowed to touch. After a long effort, he secretly tried to repair the radio, and it started working magically in a storm. This paved the way for David to cross-connect with Janani, another college student who exists in a different time. What is Jessie’s role in David’s life? What happens to David’s relationship with Janani? The rest of the story explains all these.
Star Performance
Prabhu did a good job in his dual role. He fits well in his characters and emoted well. Roshini is as impressive as Janani. Ila is decent in her role as a college student. Dattatreya is good in his role as Richard.
Analysis
Murphy has a wonderful screenplay that keeps the audience engaged with its fast-paced energetic sequences. Most of the scenes make the audience sit at the seat’s edge to wait for the positive result, they expected. The emotional scenes are penned well, and the BGM gels well with them. Along with the cast, Murphy radio became one of the main characters of the film. The cast of the film is the main crew too. All of them are involved in some other work behind the camera, making the movie appear great. The dialogues are penned well and the dialogue coaches should be appreciated for the smooth flow of the dialogues. Ila is one of the crew members of the production design and costume design team. Besides playing the lead, Prabhu was the assistant director, dialogue writer, and screenplay writer, which helped him improvise the scenes.
