Plot

Chef Chidambara is a famous chef who runs a beach-side restaurant. His popularity and talent didn’t help him keep his business running. His business place is pledged with Avinash, a local money lender. As Chidamabara didn’t pay back the loan, Avinash threatens him that he will take his property. Anu, his lover, promised him that she would help him after she gets settled with a lump sum in her entrepreneurial activity. Meanwhile, Mona, Avinash’s wife, is stuck with an issue and she needs Chidambara’s help. Mona’s ex-lover threatens her that he will reveal their relationship to Avinash with explicit material he has. If Chidambara gets that and hands it over to Mona, his problem will be solved. But, what happened is the death of Mona’s ex-lover in Chidambara’s apartment. How did this happen? Will Chidamabara get out of this trouble?

Star Performance

Aniruddha plays well in the given role. Rachel pairs him, but she doesn’t get enough scope in the role. Their pairing looks odd. Nidhi gets a solid role and she fits in the role with ease.

Analysis

While reading the story, it looks interesting. But did it do justice to the audience? Chidambara is a leading Chef, but there is no sequence to show him cooking. He chops veggies and stirs. Instead of taking chef as the character, the makers could’ve opted for any other profession, as it would make no difference. It is shown that the protagonist lives in a posh apartment, but he has debts that affect his life. How did he get stuck with loan issues? No clear explanation regarding this. The screenplay is not much impressive. Thankfully, there are no commercial elements inserted. The biggest relief is that the film is limited to below 2 hours of running time. The visuals and music are quite decent.

Verdict

Despite its shortcomings, the film has a limited running time, and so the audience may not feel bored. If you want a short time pass, you can check this!
