Plot

Parul Yadav Parul Yadav is a popular Kannada actress in both t >> Read More... , a lovely young girl, dreams of becoming a doctor. She is the cynosure of many eyes in Malgudi , where she stays with her parents. "Dhananjay", a care-free guy, bounces upon her and is smitten by her. Gradually Parul  (who had rejected several proposals) also reciprocates Dhananjay’s love and believes him to be her soul partner. Well, the movie has the much-needed twist later. This twist is entirely different. To experience the twist,  watch the movie!

Star Performances

Parul  Yadav, who essays the role of a simple and naïve girl, does her role with utter conviction. Dhananjay too does his role with aplomb. Raghu Mukherjee Raghu Mukherjee is an Indian model and film actor >> Read More... has done a great work. Comedy track of Chikkanna and Sadhu Kokila Sadhu Kokila is a Kannada actor who primarily work >> Read More... could have been better. 

Analysis

Director "Pawan Wadeyar" has woven the movie with romance and horror in a balanced manner. The director should be applauded for taking the movie forward with a focus on the heroine (which is something not frequent in Sandalwood).  He has also come out of his familiar zone and deserves appreciation. 

What’s there?

  • The twist in the movie is something which elevates the movie to an altogether different level. Though the movie is named after the hero of the movie, it’s the heroine who has the lion’s share. 
  • The bond between the mother and son (Dhananjay and Sumalatha) is appealing. 
  • The movie will keep you hooked to the seats most of the times.
  • The cinematography of is commendable. 
  • Music by Anoop Seelin Anoop Seelin was born in the town of Hassan, Karna >> Read More... is one of the highlights of the movie. 

What’s not there?

  • The comedy element seems to be unwanted. 
  • The movie is dragging at places. 
  • Editing could have been better. 

Verdict

Jessie can be watched due to its different attempt.
