Plot

The story starts where Preethi (Sobhitha) and Sneha (Shweta) are friends. Sneha suffers from a disease and has a hole in her heart while Preethi is blind. Prem (Chandan), their neighbor falls in love with Preethi when he sees her singing on the terrace without knowing the fact that she is blind. Sneha realizes Prem's affection for her friend and to avoid any complexities she asks Prem to stay away from Preethi. When Prem doesn't listen to her, she decides to lie to him that Preethi is planning to get hitched soon and on the pretext of introducing him to Preethi's fiancé, takes him on a road trip. But during this journey, she falls in love with Prem. But when she realizes that Prem truly loves Preethi, she decides to unite them by keeping two secrets, one, that she has feelings for Prem and second, the fact that Preethi is blind. All these entangled situations are solved in the climax.

Analysis

The story of the movie is simple, but the script makes it worse. In the initial half, you may bear all the complexities with a hope that they will make sense later but the script would disappoint you. Kumar Datt's direction fails badly. The story is too stretched and the audience in advance get to know what they will witness in the next seen. Although, the flick starts on a promising note that it will offer a love triangle, but viewers end up feeling pity for them. Only the music of the movie works well as the songs are melodious. Also, visuals are convincing. Rest, all the departments are below average, be it editing, cinematography or screenplay. Even actors haven't done something to add some charm in this dead script. They too are average with their performances.

Star Performances

Chandan's previous films had failed, and this one is on the same track, not helping to save his drowning career. Although his acting can't be blamed as he is not having a meaty role with convincing dialogues. If we talk of screen space, Shweta has earned a bigger role than Shobhitha. But that doesn't make any sense as they both are average in all the shots. A burglary incident added in the second half of the flick also fails to leave an impact. Only Sunny and Yograj are good with their respective performances.

What's there ????

1. The background score and songs are melodious and a major plus.

2. Yograj and Sunny are good in their roles.

3. Both the female leads are glamorous although they don't have much to offer.

What's not there ????

1. Poor script and narration worsens the situation.

2. Failure of technical department adds to the casualties.

3. Artists have also not put in any special effort to make it a decent watch.

Verdict

If you still plan to watch 'Eradondla Mooru,' then watch it with a caution in the beginning ' At your risk,' because except for the interesting name, everything else is pretty much boring.
