Plot
Amar is a swindler. He comes to know that the money that had been given to the sandalwood smuggler Veerappan to release Dr Rajkumar, who had been his hostage, hadn’t been recovered. Amar wants to give a try to get the money in the forest. So, he sets up a journey. Did he get the money? What happened to Amar? Watch the film in theaters!
Star Performance
The stars had done justice to the roles given. However, the casting team should have taken a bit extra care in choosing the right actors for the right roles.
Analysis
The director has chosen a good script and he had executed it well too. However, if he had cut 15 to twenty minutes, then the film would have been crisper. As the screenplay is lengthy, the climax seems to be stretchy.

Unlike the regular films where the hero tries to unfold the mystery, this film brings something interesting. Although the climax is a bit lengthy, Aranyakanda is worth watching once.
