Plot
Kapil and Soumya are a happily married couple living with their joint family in Indore. The only problem for the two is the lack of privacy, for which Soumya dreams of a separate home for themselves. Her husband, though, has mixed opinions about that. Suddenly, an opportunity comes knocking, but at a heavy price. Are Kapil and Soumya ready to pay for it?

' and 'Mimi,' Laxman Utekar has given another film that deserves applause for its concept and the way it served clean entertainment without any innuendos.
Vicky Kaushal is on a roll. After showing his versatility in 'Sardar Udham' and 'Govinda Naam Mera,' he returns as the money-minded yoga instructor who is caught in the dilemma of choosing between his love and his family.
Sara Ali Khan has to be the biggest discovery of this film. She looks awesome as the upbeat, self-confident Soumya, whose greed gets the better of her. Only months after her forgettable venture of 'Gaslight,' this role is more than a welcome surprise.
The supporting cast is also equally good. While more screen space should have been given to Sharib Hashmi, the roles of Rakesh Bedi, Kanupriya Pandit, and Inaamulhaq are worth mentioning.
Analysis
In the past few years, one thing that our audience has missed the most is healthy, clean comedies that are neither out of place nor sleazy. Once known for its hilarious comedies, Bollywood has seen a downfall in the quality of comedy films served to the audience.
However, it seems that Laxman Utekar is here to change this notion in his sweet way. Taking up crucial issues of housing allotment under government schemes, spicing it up with family squabbles without being preachy, 'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke' is outstanding. The humor is natural. The jokes are not forced and above all, it has a sweet message for one and all.
Both Vicky and Sara have done a commendable job as the romantic couple devising bizarre schemes just to have a moment of privacy. It seems that Laxman Utekar has grown up watching many

. The supporting cast has been equally impressive in whatever roles they were offered. Also, the musical score of Sachin Jigar is equally impressive. 'Phir aur Kya Chahiye' and 'Tere Vaaste' are some of the tracks that are bound to be chartbusters.
The only gripe with this film is the editing of this movie, due to which some of the sequences in the second half felt sloppy, even borderline bizarre. However, the writing was more than enough to keep the audience engaged.

'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke' is the refreshing breeze of comedy that Bollywood has deserved for a long. It might not be flawless, but it is certainly worth your time. Also, the music of this movie is bound to make many youngsters groove.
