Plot

A hotel in Manali named Vodka Diaries is the talk of the town, as it witnessed five murders. Ashwini Dixit investigates the murder mystery. While the investigation is going on interestingly, Ashwini has to put a pause to the case, as his wife has gone missing. Ashwini is very much close to his wife Shika and his assistant Ankit. Ashwini feels that the murder case is very tough than he guessed. As soon as he meets his people in the case, Ashwini gets stuck with it. Did he solve the case? What happens to his wife? Find the answer in theaters.

Star Performance

Kay Kay Menon, Mandira and Sharib have played well. Raima is a suspense character in the film and her job has come out well.

Analysis

Kushal, the debutant director, starts the film on an interesting note. The film deals with the cop and his bonding with his wife and his job. It deals neatly with the relationships. However, the film lacks some freshness in the second half.

First half is impressive

What’s Not There?

BGM is little louder
Execution is not impressive

Verdict

With a good script, Kushal started the film excitingly. But, it didn’t continue, as expected. However, the psychological cop thriller is a one-time watch!
