Dipoo Srivastava is an Indian standup comedian, television and film actor from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He started his career in the year 1996 by performing in many stage shows. In year 1998, he moved to Mumbai to pursue his career in doing comedic acts and luckily, he was seen in many popular comedy shows on several reputable television channels. He is the younger brother of Raju Srivastava, who won the “The King of Comedy” title in The Great Indian – Champions. He made his brother as his inspiration, mentor and idol and followed his footsteps on the way to success.

Dipoo appeared in the first season of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge on STAR One channel. He also made appearances in Dhamal No. 1; the Hindi comedy show on STAR One; Nonsense Unlimited on Doordarshan channel; Comedy Ka Badshah and a lot more. He made his debut in the big screen through the comedy drama film, Meri Padosan in 2009, where he played a gay character. In 2010, he became part of Bhavnao Ko Samjho, the first ever film that brought all the stand up comedians from Pakistan, India and even Australia, in the big screen. This film was produced, written and directed by The Great Indian Laughter Challenge first crowned winner, . 51 famous stand up comedians gathered together to act in one film. In the same year, Dipoo also made an appearance in the Bollywood comedy film, Hello Darling, helmed by , followed by the films Stupid’s and Sunil Pal’s . Besides films, Dipoo also worked in comedy serials like Mrs. Pammi Pyarelal, Laughter Challenge One, Wah Wah Ma Guest Role, Funjabi Chakde, Dhaaba Junction, Comedy Gags, Ekke Pe Ekka and a lot more.

His style of comedy is usually about the current events and situations and just like his brother, he has done shows not just in India but also in different countries like Dubai, Singapore, Muscat, Nepal, Fiji and Mauritius. The actor-comedian has done a total of more than 400 shows in all.

Dipoo is also a member of Mimicry Artist Association, Mumbai or MAAM, headed by . Dipoo also founded the Safal Entertainments Pvt Ltd. and manages events for shows like Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Voice of India, Little Champions and more. They are also organizing fashion shows, film launches, stand up comedy shows, music launches, online promotion and more.
