Saurabh Shukla was born at Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh in the year 1963 on 5th March. He is a versatile personality who started from theater & reached to Bollywood where he tried his hands in Direction, Screenplay writing along with his Acting. At the age of two, he left Gorakhpur & moved to Delhi. He completed his schooling & later did his graduation from Khalsa College in Delhi. In 1984, he kickstarted his career as a professional with his entry into the theater. Shekhar Kapur gave him the debut role in Bandit Queen.

Earlier he did many plays & also joined NSD Repertoire Company as an actor. Satya, that was directed by Ram Gopal Verma proved to be the film in which his role could not be sidelined. Anurag Kashyap & Saurabh Shukla wrote the story of this movie. It proved to be a turning time & take him to the peak of fame by playing the role of Kallu Mama, a gangster. He also wrote the screenplay of Calcutta Mail & got Zee Cine Award. In Slumdog Millionaire, he played the role of Constable, it was an international movie that won Academy Awards & Golden Globe. For the movie Jolly LLB, he was honored with National Award for best supporting actor. He also bagged the same in Screen Awards. His style of work got a lot of acclamation. His other remarkable works can be seen in PK, Barfi & Kick to name a few.

Shadaab Khan

Shadaab Khan is an Indian model, director and Film actor. Shadaab was born on 20th of September 1973 in Mumbai, India. Shadaab is the son of famous Bollywood actor Amjad Khan, who is best known for his negative role in the blockbuster movie, Sholay as Gabbar Singh. His mother’s name is Shaila Khan. Shadaab’s maternal grandfather was Akhtar-ul-Iman, who was a famous script writer. Right from childhood, Shadaab’s passion was writing scripts and becoming a Bollywood director followed by acting. He had gone to school with other famous Bollywood star’s kids like Twinkle Khanna and Meghana Gulzar. He was immensely interested in the cinema so dropped out of college as well. He was to be cast for the movie ‘Himalaya Putra’ but eventually he opted out, and it became the debut movie of Akshay Khanna. Shadaab debuted in Bollywood as an actor with the movie ‘Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat’ in the year 1996. This movie also happened to be the debut movie of famous Bollywood actress Rani Mukherji. Unfortunately, the movie was a flop at the Box Office. Though being passionate about acting Shadaab could not be a prominent actor in the film industry. However, Shadaab continued to perform in supporting roles. He played the role of a tailor named ‘Altaf’ in Kamal Hassan’s 2000 movie ‘Hey Ram’. He also played a minor role in the movie ‘Refugee’, directed by J.P. Dutta starring debutants Abhishek Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor. Also, he acted in ‘Betaabi ’, released in 1997 directed by Harry Baweja and in another movie called ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhata.' After having an unsuccessful acting career, Shadaab was dormant until 2010, he made his came back as the director of the movie ‘Highway’ released in the year 2010. Amjad Khan was a Bollywood actor who appeared in more than 130 films, in a span of twenty years. He is known to this day for his performance as Sholay's Gabbar Singh. Shadaab Khan on the other hand, who initially shook a leg in acting but after a few films such as his debut; ‘Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat’ alongside Rani Mukherjee, he took up what lies closer to his heart, writing. In 2015, Amitabh Bachchan who shared screen space along with Shadaab's father in Sholay and who has known him since then launched Shadaab Khan’s book ‘Murder in Bollywood’. Concerning his personal life, Shadaab Khan is the son of the late Actor Amjad Khan. He stays with his mother, Shaila and his wife.
