ANALYSIS:
This feature film is a mystical ode to the cinema by Dev Benegal. His direction is top-notch. His characters are raw and real. He skillfully uses the desert terrain to create a magical aura. The French cinematographer, Michel Amathieu, does a flawless job of capturing the true essence of the film. Music by Michael Brook is hauntingly beautiful.
STAR PERFORMANCES:
Every actor gives an exemplary performance. The understated performances add to the vibrancy of the movie. Abhay Deol is impressive. Satish Kaushik and Faizal are unforgettable. Tannishtha performs ably.
