Supriya Pathak
, who played mother to
Tannishtha Chatterjee
in “UnIndian” says that it is a sweet script. The film directed by
Anupam Sharma
has
Brett Lee
, the Australian cricketer in the lead role. Brett plays a teacher and Tannishtha plays an Indian single mother. When asked about the script, Supriya says, "It is a simple story without any complications, a slice-of-life film, and I wanted to be a part of it. I met the director for the first time on the set. It didn't feel like it was my first day with them." "It takes time for society to accept any change. While it was unthinkable earlier, now no one frowns upon the idea of a single parent getting a second chance in life," she said when asked about the single mothers’ next love. There are no cricket scenes in the film, although it has Brett Lee. But, Brett Lee will be seen playing handball with the kid, who plays Tannishtha’s daughter. When asked about her, Supriya said that she is a cool mother in real life. She is very friendly with her children and even her children talk about their love life to her.
