Analysis:
Shabana Azmi is the show stealer, no doubt. Adam Laupus is sincere and convincing, yet could have been better. Rest of the cast like Shreya Sharma Bio coming soon... >> Read More... and Diksha Basu are good performers. Lethia Nall doesn’t deliver well, making her appearance and acting look half baked. The cinematography of Chandigarh from a tourists’ view is not happening. Much hype with the story when realism screams with aspects like foreigners fearing contracting Malaria or cycle Rickshaws and carriages around Chandigarh, make the story overt. The narration, along with the subtle humor, gives you a few light-hearted bouts. The pragmatic, yet not over the edge arranged marriage, completes the story well.
What’s There?
1. Shabana Azmi is pleasing as Preeti.
2. A light-hearted comedy to watch in times you spare.
3. An excellent narration you would experience.
What’s not there?
1. The screaming overcooked reality in a tourist’s perspective.
2. Lack of first rate cinematography.
3. Expected good performances from Lethia Nall.
Verdict:
One time must watch for the usual. Good storyline, as well as, good acting by Shabana Azmi.
