Neel Murgai Ensemble

Neel Murgai Ensemble is a multi-instrumental musician, composer, and teacher. He is also a music artist, sitarist, overtone singer, and percussionist. Neel is a co-founder of the Brooklyn Raga Massive. Brooklyn Raga Massive is a collection of artist and performers across the globe, which is responsible for cross-cultural understanding with the music.

Neel did work with a diverse array of artists and ensembles, including Bill T. He has given his performance at different venues ranging from the Lincoln Center and Kennedy Center for the David Letterman Show to jazz clubs such as the Blue Note and at festivals around the U.S including Art Wallah, Arts Pleasure, and Masala! Mehndi!Masti!And many others. Most Thursdays you can enjoy Neel hosting or participating in Brooklyn Raga Massive's Concert, and Jam Session at Jalopy Theater in Brooklyn. Neel did his label Innova recordings-Innova 756.
